Dawn Taylor resorts to drastic measures next week in an attempt to get her son back – but will she get caught out?
Still suffering with withdrawal symptoms after deciding to go cold turkey in an attempt to go clean from drugs, Dawn struggles to pull herself together to face a meeting with the social worker about getting her son, Lucas, back.
But her world falls apart when the social worker reveals they have already started the process of getting her son adopted, making Dawn realise that she is about to lose her boy for good.

Fuming with Harriet for being the one to organise the meeting, Dawn lashes out and confronts the vicar, leading to a big fight.
As Dawn storms out of the Woolpack, Ryan follows Harriet, worried about his friend’s fragile state of mind.
But as Dawn breaks down crying, Ryan is there to offer a shoulder to cry on… and as they chat he encourages her to fight for what makes her happy, and if that is getting her boy back then she needs to try everything she can.
When she gets home, Harriet is shocked to see such a change in Dawn, and her fresh determination both surprises her and worries her at the same time.
As Dawn announces that the is going to whatever it takes to get her son back, Harriet is left fearing the worst, realising there is very little she can do to stop Dawn’s new mission.
The next day Dawn has another meeting with the social worker, and while she is distracted for a moment, Dawn siezes the moment and takes a photo of Lucas’s file on her computer while she isnt looking.
Determined to do whatever she can to get her son back, Dawn doesnt care that she’s playing dirty, and is thrilled that she got the address that Lucas’s is now living at in her photo.
Knowing that Dawn is up to no good, Harriet confronts her former step-daughter about the fact she didn’t tell Ryan the whole truth about Lucas… but her words go over Dawn’s head and she tells the vicar to back off and leave her to her plan.
