We know that Emmerdale’s Charity Dingle has been through a lot recently but there’s never a reason to get behind the wheel when you’re a few sheets to the wind.

Charity is still struggling to deal with the aftermath of DI Bails’ trial next week and she’s coping by basically downing vodka and being obnoxious.
She’s gutted when she overhears a cross Cain say she’ll never change and grabs Zak’s keys before ‘borrowing’ his van and speeding off.
Unfortunately as she drives away, she runs over Monty the dog. Noooo!
Zak adores the pooch who he recently rescued from an abusive owner and is devastated when Charity wheels over his paw in the van?
Will he be okay? We’re not sure Zak can handle another doggie death after Alfie.
Soap dogs don’t tend to do too well after being hit by troubled drunk drivers. Who remembers Abi Branning’s dog Tramp who she mowed down and killed while half cut?
Meanwhile Charity keeps going and eventually finds herself waking up in a field while a cross farmer calls the police out on her.
She’s let off with an unofficial warning but tells her family she’s made the decision to try to find her estranged dad, Obadiah.
Zak reveals that he knows where Obadiah is and – with Vanessa by her side – Charity heads off to find the dad who kicked her out when she was a teenager.
