Harriet Finch’s stalker terror takes another sinister twist in next week’s Emmerdale when she finds herself locked up inside the church by her mystery attacker.
Emmerdale fans have seen Harriet become the target of a mysterious figure recently after she was attacked my someone wearing a hoodie last week.
But unfortunately this attack doesn’t seem to be a one off, and Harriet is set to be left terrified as strange things start to happen to her over the next few weeks.

As the police get involved, trying to work out who could have it in for the village vicar, it seems that everyone in Emmerdale thinks Dawn could have something to do with Harriet’s new drama.
But next week sees yet another twist in the tale when the vicar starts getting sinister prank phone calls.
Bob Hope has been convinced from the start of the ‘whodunnit’ that Dawn is to blame for Harriet being attacked, and next week it seems his suspicions are confirmed when he catches her making sneaky phone calls in the Woolpack corridor.
But was Dawn really prank calling Harriet, or has Bob just put two and two together and got 10?
Bob heads to see Harriet and shares his fears with her about Dawn being behind her attack, but while Harriet struggles to know what to believe, Dawn doesn’t take kindly to being blamed and announces she is moving out.
The following day Harriet and Dawn manage to make amends, but only moments after they’re friends again, Harriet gets another sinister text message, setting her on edge all over again.
Struggling to hold it together, Harriet is later miffed when she hears church bells ringing in the village.

Knowing it is the wrong time of day for them to be heard, she goes to the church to investigate.
But once she s there she finds the heavy door slam shut behind her, locking her in.
No matter how hard Harriet tries to escape, she can’t get the door to budge, and she’s left horrified at what is happening to her.
Frightened to death, the vicar tries to work out who could have it in for her, and why. But with no way out… what is going to happen to Harriet next?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
