Maya Stepney’s vile grooming of Jacob Gallagher looks like it could be over next week as the teenager calls time on their ‘romance’.
Fans have watched in horror over the last few months as evil teacher Maya has slowly groomed her boyfriend’s teenage son, who also just so happens to be one of her pupils.
Maya and Jacob’s relationship has turned serious in recent weeks with the pair sleeping together.
But next week it looks like Maya could be losing her grip on Jacob as he grows tired of lying to everyone.

Maya’s week doesn’t get off to the best of starts when boss Jessie Dingle calls a meeting to discuss her performance at work.
Clearly noticing that Maya has been distracted of late, but clueless that it is because of her romance with Jacob, Jessie questions if Maya is still as dedicated to her job as she should be.
Maya claims she’s suffering from low self-esteem after her divorce, and manages to keep hold of her teaching role when Jessie falls for her sob story hook, line and sinker.
But while she might still have a job, Maya soon has bigger things to worry about when Jacob tells her he can’t keep lying to Liv and his dad.
Maya is horrified when Jacob reveals he wants to come clean, and manages to get control of the situation as she talks him out of revealing everything to David.
But it seems the lies are all becoming too much for the teenager, and fed up with sneaking around he tells Maya their relationship is over.
While Maya is left reeling from being dumped by Jacob, Liv is confessing to Gabby that she has decided that it is time to take her relationship with Jacob to the next level.

Convinced that Jacob is losing interest in her because they haven’t spent the night together yet, she thinks that sleeping together is the right thing to do.
But is her heart really in it?
As Liv battles with her emotions and faces doing something that she might later regret, Jacob is oblivious to her turmoil and is thrilled when Maya tries to win him back.
But will Maya’s plan to get Jacob back on side work?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
