It’s pretty clear to everyone that Bernice Blackstock has outgrown her relationship with Daz Spencer.
Let’s be honest, she’s been getting tired of him for a while, right back to when she thought he was responsible for abducting Amelia.
Stealing the factory money from her sister Nicola’s bag to help out Dan and Kerry didn’t do him any favours and left Bernice feeling humiliated.
But that was nothing compared to how embarrassed she felt when Brenda fired him from the cafe and he ended up getting a job as a clown.
For someone as prim and proper as Bernice, it was about as torturous as life could get, especially when he turned up in full clown gear.
We’re going to put it out there, clowns just aren’t sexy.
Add to that the obvious chemistry Bernice has with Dr Cavanagh and the final nail is pretty much ready to be hammered into the coffin that is their relationship.
But with rumours of an affair doing the rounds, will Bernice be able to dump Daz? Or will she cheat on him with the dashing doctor?
Seeing her daughter’s growing discomfort in her relationship, Diane urges Bernice to put Daz out of his misery and ditch him.
But will Bernice take her advice?
Well, dishy Dr Cavanagh is currently single since his wife Maya left him for shopkeeper David Metcalfe and Bernice is no stranger to an affair – remember swarthy Carlos?
The pair flirted up a storm in the salon last week when the Doc arrived to take a look at Faith Dingle who had an allergic reaction t something Bernice used on her skin.
Not only did Dr Cav stick up for Bernice, he also let her give him a free haircut to say thank you.
Sexual tension flowed between them as Bernice ran her hands through his hair and Dr Liam didn’t look too uncomfortable with the situation either.
Surely it’s just a matter of time before they give in to temptation?
