Latest Emmerdale spoilers have revealed that a terrified Laurel is to be kidnapped by Colin as his behaviour takes a dangerous turn. Can Laurel’s friends and family get to her in time?
Laurel’s ordeal comes as Jai is struggling with his father’s death. As the pair prepare for a trip to India, tensions rise to an all-time high, and Jai sets off alone.
But when Laurel comes into conflict with an unhinged Colin – having gotten on to his bad side in taking on his son, Marshall – she is kidnapped and held hostage in his home.

Colin holds Laurel hostage as tensions with Jai come to a head
Laurel and Jai’s plans to leave for India are put in jeopardy when Archie falls ill. Chaos ensues when Laurel reveals that Archie is sick – causing Jai to explode in anger.
As Laurel attempts to calm Jai, the house becomes a battlefield. Jai grows more upset as the situation escalates, and Jai plans to leave for India alone.
Struggling with her guilt, Laurel receives a warning from Suni. Resolving to support Jai, she decides to join him in India.
But when she goes to get Marshall’s passport, Colin turns nasty and locks her in the teen’s bedroom. Terrified and without her phone, Laurel is trapped and helpless.
Nicola and Suni panic as Laurel disappears
Back in the village, Suni and Nicola worry when they don’t hear from Laurel. Suni suggests that they message Jai, but is shut down by Nicola, who thinks they might need some space.
Laurel desperately tries to negotiate with Colin as his behaviour continues to grow more unpredictable. Hitting Colin over the head, she tries in vein to escape, but remains locked in.
Meanwhile, Jai, Nicola and Suni continue to worry about Laurel’s absence. Then, Arthur reveals that Laurel was supposed to pick up Marshall’s passport from Colin’s house.
Laurel struggles to free herself from unpredictable Colin’s grip
At the house, Colin forces Laurel to unlock her phone. He then texts Jai, pretending to be a relapsed Laurel.
As Colin grows increasingly dangerous, a police officer arrives at the house. However, his manipulation only prolongs her ordeal.
Jai and Suni soon take matters into their own hands in trying to find Laurel. But can they reach her in time?
