There’s drama heading for Emmerdale next week when Vanessa Woodfield and Charity Dingle’s relationship comes crashing down after a huge bombshell is revealed.
Emmerdale fans have known for a while that Charity is the secret face behind Mandy and Vinny’s casino heist.
But while viewers might know Charity is secretly the ‘little mermaid’ from Mandy’s revelations about what she and Vinny had been up to before returning to the village, the Dingles are totally in the dark that the pair’s partner in crime is someone so close to home.

However when Vinny reveals that Charity is the one who has been helping them scam thousands of pounds from casino boss Terry, the family are left reeling that she could have kept something so huge a secret.
But no one is as horrified as Vanessa, who quizzes her partner on how exactly she was involved in the illegal scam… giving Charity the chance to come clean about what happened.
Charity isn’t very forthcoming with the details though, and when Vanessa realises that she has been lying to her all this time – and still is – she ends their relationship, leaving Charity devastated.
Vanessa is gutted that things have ended so sourly, and soon the Dingles find out exactly what happened as the final truths about the casino scam are revealed.
Both Sarah and Noah are upset when they find out Vanessa has called time on her relationship with Charity, and it seems they aren’t the only ones who are struggling.
Charity is also heartbroken at the breakup, but it is Vanessa who is taking things the hardest and she is soon breaking down in Tracy’s arms, grateful for her support.

But Charity isn’t going to give up on her relationship that easily and she goes to see Vanessa in the hope that she can put things right.
As Charity explains how hard things have been since their split, she is hopeful that Vanessa might change her mind and ask for a reunion… but she’s set for disappointment.
Vanessa sticks to her guns and it doesn’t look like a reunion is on the cards for the pair any time soon.
Is this really the end of the beloved couple?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
