In April of this year, the couple revealed on Instagram that Michelle is pregnant with their first child.
As filming at Emmerdale was suspended back in March due to COVID-19, Michelle has been off screen.
Due to her pregnancy, she has been shielding amid the pandemic and is unlikely to return to the soap until after her maternity leave.
Emmerdale: Where is Vanessa?
Currently her alter ego Vanessa Woodfield is having treatment for bowel cancer. Vanessa has been staying with her mum off-screen, however part of her storyline has continued in the village with her fiancée Charity trying to find a way to adopt Vanessa’s son, Johnny.
Last week, Charity was shocked when Vanessa’s ex, Johnny’s dad Kirin, returned to the village.
Kirin, who was wanted by the police for a hit and run he did in 2016, tried to get £15K out of Charity.

After a lot of back and forth, Charity tricked Kirin into signing the adoption papers. She then refused to help him escape police custody.
But now, with Kirin giving up his parental rights to his son, it looks like Charity will be able to adopt the little boy.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
