Emmerdale has revealed good news for its fans, as the ITV soap is set to air seven times a week.
For the next fortnight at least, the popular serial drama will treat viewers to another episode on a Tuesday.
Luckily the ITV soap will avoid a clash with rival EastEnders, but will go head-to-head against the first 30 minutes of Holby City on BBC1.

Not good for Holby fans, but thank goodness for catch-up.
This week, Emmerdale aired on Tuesday at 8pm as well as the usual 7pm slot, and future schedules confirm that extra instalments will air at 8pm on both Tuesday 16 April and 23 April.
We don’t yet know if the extra episodes are anything to do with the much-hyped Big Night Out scenes, which promise to change the lives of at least 10 of the Emmerdale residents.

The teaser video hints that Maya Stepney’s grooming secret is exposed, while spoilers tell us that Victoria Sugden is raped.
Meanwhile, Coronation Street and EastEnders will switch back again in the Friday night schedules.
Later this month, ITV’s Corrie will return to its regular Friday night schedule pattern after airing hour-long episodes from 7.30pm since late February.
Because of ITV’s changing schedules, BBC’s EastEnders has also had to change to accommodate its rival – airing at 8.30pm on Fridays to avoid a clash.
This Friday, however, Corrie will still air for an hour (12 April), as well as the week after (19 April). After that the soaps will go back to normal.
As from Friday 26 April, the Weatherfield show will air twice – at 7.30pm and 8.30pm – and EastEnders will return to its regular 8pm slot.
Tomorrow will see devastating scenes in the continuing aftermath of the factory roof collapse and Carla’s subsequent breakdown when she goes missing.
