Viewers of Emmerdale are creeped out by sinister Arthur Thomas as he continues his cruel treatment of Archie Breckle.
For weeks, fans of the soap have seen Arthur bullying Archie and his abuse stepped up when he punched Archie knocking him unconscious.
When Arthur told his mum Laurel and Archie’s dad Jai that Archie fell off the chair, they soon discovered other bruises that Arthur left on the little boy.

Arthur managed to cover himself, but landed Jimmy King in trouble, telling Laurel and Jai that Jimmy was the one who hurt Archie.
In last night’s episode (December 3 2019) Archie made a sweet gesture, offering Arthur his gingerbread house after his collapsed.
Being forced to thank Archie, Arthur gave the little boy an evil look leaving viewers unsettled, and worrying about what’s to come.

Meanwhile, Laurel desperately tried to fix her friendship with Nicola after accusing her husband Jimmy of hurting Archie.
However it seems things will get worse for Jimmy next week when he pulls Archie away from his daughter Angelica.
When Angelica and Arthur make fun of him, Archie slaps Angelica and Jimmy drags the little boy away from her.

But Jai catches him just as he’s holding Archie and is fuming.
Later Arthur tells Archie that everyone would be better if he left and the next morning he gets what he wants.
Everyone is horrified when they wake up to see Archie’s bedroom is empty and later Jimmy is reeling when the police question him regarding Archie’s disappearance.
Will Laurel and Jai ever find out the truth about Arthur’s cruel abuse?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
