Viewers of Emmerdale have been left divided as Lee’s brother Luke claims to be on Victoria’s side after she was raped by Lee.
In Thursday night’s episode of the ITV soap (October 31 2019) Luke came to the village to see Victoria, who recently discovered he was the brother of the man who raped her.
Luke tried to explain to her that he had no idea who she was.
However Aaron warned him that he and his family should stay away, but as Luke went to leave he told Victoria he was nothing like his brother.
Vic then went to the bus stop to talk to him, asking him why he came.
Luke explained he didn’t come to harass her and told her that he believed her about Lee.
I really like Luke.
He then told her he didn’t know where it went wrong for Lee and why he was the way he was.
Before getting on the bus he told her that he was nothing like his brother and Victoria appeared to believe him.
Luke then suggested they could one day throw caution to the wind and see where destiny takes them.
It looks like this isn’t the last we’ll see of Luke. A source confirmed to The Sun: “Max has proved a huge hit with viewers so it was a no brainer to bring Luke back later this year.
“He and Victoria keep being thrown back together no matter how difficult the circumstances and it’s going to lead to some explosive scenes.”
Some viewers believe that Luke is genuine and nothing like his brother.
#Emmerdale hasn't been great recently but tonight has been quite good. I really liked the shop scenes with jacob and leanna. Also please make Luke a regular. I really like him.

He didn't know that you were involved with Lee, Victoria. Give him a chance, he seems nice. #Emmerdale

I actually really like Lee's brother. Wouldn't be surprised if he terrorised his little brother as well as women. He seems very quick to believe Victoria. #Emmerdale

But others think that he’s not as nice as he makes out to be…
Cant help to think Luke is there for a reason, and its not for a happy-ever-after with Vic, characters are added for plot and drama #emmerdale

Earlier this year Victoria was horrifically raped by Lee Posner after Emmerdale’s Big Night Out and shortly after, discovered she was pregnant.
Lee and his mum Wendy began harassing Victoria accusing her of lying about the rape, but when they found out she was pregnant, they continued to harass her even more.

Lee eventually agreed to stop for cash and an apology.
Victoria and her brother Robert agreed just to give him the money, but the meeting didn’t go well.
When alone with Victoria’s brother, Lee admitted what he did and hinted he would do it again.
Robert ended up hitting Lee over the head and a couple of months later Lee died from his injuries.

Meanwhile, when Victoria was going to hospital for scans and check ups for her baby, she met Luke who worked in the hospital cafe.
The pair seemed to hit it off and even went to get lunch together but Victoria got a shock at Robert’s sentencing when Luke turned up and his true identity was revealed.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
