Viewers of Emmerdale are heartbroken for Lydia Hart as she found out she could possibly have Huntington’s disease.
Over the last few months viewers have learnt more about Lydia, including the fact her real name is Jenny Finn.
Viewers know Lydia has suffered a lot of heartbreak in her life.

After being put into care, where she spent a majority of her childhood, at 15 years old she fell pregnant.
But after her baby was ‘born sleeping’, she buried him in the woods and ran away to Scarborough where she stole the identity of a woman named Lydia Hart.
Recently Lydia found out the £10,000 she was gifted from her mother Agatha.

Despite her sister Beth telling Lydia that Agatha died, Mandy found out Agatha was alive and brought her to the village to see Lydia.
My heart breaks for Lydia.
As Agatha and Lydia filled in each other on what they had missed, Agatha told her daughter that her father died of Huntington’s disease.

Huntington’s disease is a condition that stops part of the brain working properly over time and is inherited from a person’s parents.
Hearing that she could have the disease was too much for Lydia and she asked Agatha to leave before breaking down to her fiancé Sam.
Viewers were left heartbroken for Lydia as she received more bad news.
