Over in Emmerdale tonight (Tuesday, October 24), Jacob and Victoria got it on after sharing a passionate kiss with each other.
After Victoria became jealous of Jacob and Abby, Victoria ended up giving into temptation.
But, what is the real age gap between Jacob and Victoria in Emmerdale? Is it wrong?
Emmerdale: Jacob and Victoria slept together
Tonight in Emmerdale, David decided not to go on his date with Abby. Jacob felt awful and went to The Hide to break the news to her.
He ended up having a drink with Abby and then enjoyed lunch with her in a bid to make her feel better about being let down by his dad.
Victoria was clearly jealous as she served the pair, later kissing Jacob outside of her workplace.
Later on, Jacob paid Victoria a visit but Vic tried to kid herself that she wasn’t into Jacob.
However, she then couldn’t lie to herself any longer and kissed Jacob passionately before sleeping with him.
Fans feel uncomfortable about Jacob and Vic age gap
Emmerdale fans have been left feeling uncomfortable about Jacob and Victoria’s age gap. They feel icky about the developing spark between the two, especially as Victoria used to be with Jacob’s dad, David.
One fan wrote: “Where the [bleep] did this come from? Maybe if like she said she wasn’t literally all set to be his step mum 5 minutes ago. Plus the 10 year age difference. Kinda giving weird Maya vibes. Like Jacob somehow thinks it’s perfectly acceptable to fall for his step mum.”
Another viewer complained: “Ummm have the writers forgotten Jacob was groomed? Why make him fancy an older woman?”
A third fan added: “This is just too weird. Jacob was groomed by an older woman. Now, he’s trying to get into a relationship with a woman over 10 years older than him. I wouldn’t even be contemplating it if I were Victoria.”
Emmerdale: Jacob & Victoria age gap? Is it really wrong?
Emmerdale fans have been left uncomfortable by Jacob and Victoria’s age gap. However, is it really that wrong?
Jacob is twenty years old whilst Victoria is twenty-nine years old, making their age gap one of nine years.
To put this into perspective, this isn’t anywhere near as big of a gap as Victoria and David’s relationship was. They had an age gap of twelve years.
So, is it really wrong for Jacob and Victoria to be together? Well, age gap aside, it’s still a little weird considering that Vic was very nearly Jacob’s step mum… What do you think?
