Last week Michael’s character Frank was killed in the Sharma & Sharma factory fire.
Frank, who had been fired from the factory earlier that day had returned to clear out his locker and collect the engagement ring he had bought for his girlfriend, Megan.
However, when he went in he heard his daughter Tracy, who was in the factory to surprise Billy, screaming for help as she was trapped in the cupboard and a fire had started.
What villagers don’t know is earlier that day Kerry had messed with the fire alarm and then snuck back into the factory and stole charity money from the safe to give to her daughter Amy.
Amy needed the money in order to pay off her debt. Amy decided to keep it and destroyed the CCTV so they wouldn’t get caught out.
However, destroying the CCTV started the fire.
Frank managed to get Tracy out of the factory but went back for the ring. As Frank exited the factory, it looked like everyone made it out safely.
Unfortunately, an explosion went off throwing Frank against a van. Despite paramedics trying to save him, he died from his injuries.

Sadly now villagers are starting to think Frank started the fire to get revenge on Jai.
Kerry helped solidify this theory to the police when she lied to them to cover her tracks.

Kerry took her lies even further telling police that Frank seemed scared when she told him Tracy was in the factory because he must’ve known what Tracy was walking into.
She then flat out accused Frank of robbing the place, messing with the CCTV and setting it on fire, knowing she and Amy were the ones responsible
Viewers have questioned what happened to the engagement ring Frank had for Megan as it could help prove why he went into the factory.
Emmerdale is on Monday to Friday at 7pm with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursday on ITV.
