Former Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn, who played Sinead Tinker in the soap, has shared a picture with her gorgeous mum on social media.
The actress posted the picture to her Instagram page showing her and her mum stood by a Christmas tree.

She captioned the post with a Christmas tree emoji and red love heart.
Alongside the emojis, she wrote: “#holidaysarecoming #meandmomma #festivevibes.”
Fans were quick to comment on the post.

A second commented: “Yes girl.”
The picture appeared to be taken at the Royal Television Society Awards where Coronation Street won best storyline for Sinead’s cervical cancer plot.

Katie, who joined Corrie back in 2013, left the soap this year as her alter ego sadly passed away from cancer.

After being diagnosed with cervical cancer last year, pregnant Sinead made the decision to hold off on chemotherapy until her son was born.
Earlier this year she was told that her tumour had shrunk and showed no signs of spreading, but just a few months later she discovered a lump on her neck.

She was told by doctors she didn’t have much longer left and passed away in October with her husband Daniel and son Bertie by her side.
Although Katie has departed the soap, she has still stayed in contact with her Corrie pals, including Lisa George who plays Sinead’s auntie, Beth Tinker.
