EastEnders has released another trailer showcasing the shooting drama that is set to hit Walford this September, and it looks like we’ll all be on the edge of our seats.
After teasing fans with a ten second trailer on Friday that featured nothing but a gun shot riding out while the camera pulled away from a sinister image of The Vic, this time viewers have been treated to more gory details.

The new trailer, which was released last night, shows Stuart looking as sinister as always, and Mick and Linda talking about how they’re going to be ready for him when he returns.

There is even a very scary-looking Shirley smashing a baseball bat onto the bar of the pub… we always knew she was a tough nut, but this time she really does mean business.
The trailer also shows Tina hinting that she has unfinished business with Stuart by confessing: “He’ll get what’s coming to him, I’ll make sure of it.”
So is Stuart the one with the gun? Or has one of the Carters decided that it’s time to silence Stuart for good?
With Stuart chillingly announcing: “May you have half hour in heaven before the devil knows you’re dead,” it looks likely that his vendetta against the Carters is far from over.
But it’s not just Stuart and the Carters who are potentially caught up in next month’s shooting drama.
There is also Jack and Mel, whose relationship is about to be tested with the arrival of Mel’s ex husband, Ray.
Jack is seen in the trailer telling Mel: “Loyalty and trust, that’s what it’s all about.” But at the same time there is definitely something going on between Mel and her ex with Ray leaning in for a kiss.
Is Mel about to cheat on Jack? And if she does, could Jack be the one to pull the trigger when he finds out?
Also in the frame for the shooting storyline is Keanu and Sharon as they embark on a steamy affair.
As the pair struggle to keep their hands off each other, the trailer shows Keanu telling Sharon: “What if Phil finds out? This ain’t right.”

Could Phil be the one with the gun if he comes home to find the pair together?
As the trailer says: “There are lines you do not cross,” and with three main storylines all running throughout the next few weeks it looks like anyone could be in the firing line when that gun goes off.
EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
