Actress Sally Dexter has confirmed she will be leaving Emmerdale in an upcoming storyline.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk at The Inside Soap Awards Sally said: “Well there’s a lot of fallout from the Moira, Cain, Nate debacle, I am probably going to be collateral.
“It’s going to be an explosive October. I may have to leave for a little while.”

However, it seems she could return as Sally teased: “Oh how could I stay away from my fabulous Dingle family for too long?”
She then confirmed to BANG Showbiz: “I just want to see what’s around.
“I love Emmerdale and the team, I love my Dingle family very much.
“I don’t know how long the break is for at the moment.”
Faith made appearances in the soap in 2000 and 2004, however, she was played by Gillian Jephcott.
She came back to the village in 2017 played by Sally.
In January 2017 she donated £20,000 to great-granddaughter Sarah Sugden’s fundraising page.
But the following month she arrived in the village skint and homeless.
Over the past year she has been at the centre of some dramatic storylines, including pushing Kim Tate off the balcony at Home Farm.
She also kissed Bear Wolf behind boyfriend Eric Pollard’s back.

When he found out the truth he ended their relationship leaving her heartbroken.
Before she leaves, it seems like she’ll be caught up in more drama when her son Cain discovers his wife Moira has been cheating on him with farmhand Nate Robinson.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
