Callum receives some bad news, Iqra makes a surprising announcement and Bobby tells his family he’s practising Islam, in next week’s EastEnders.
Callum gets a visitor who brings bad news…
A lady named Vicky arrives looking for Callum and shares some heartbreaking news – her brother Chris, an ex-army colleague and friend of Callum has died. Callum struggles to process the news.
Vicky encourages him to come to the memorial the following day and, as they say an emotional goodbye, Whitney spots the exchange.
The next day, Callum struggles to focus at work with Chris on his mind; he leaves unannounced and goes to the memorial.
Callum tells Whitney what’s going on
Feeling overwhelmed Callum quickly leaves and goes back to the Square but, as he tries to fathom his thoughts, he is confronted by Whitney. She demands to know what’s going on.
With Whitney questioning him, Callum tells her his friend died and she does her best to support him. Callum struggles to hold it together as he heads back to the memorial.
Bobby tells his family he’s practising Islam
Bobby tries to explain his decision to practise Islam to Kathy and Ian.
With Ian struggling to process Bobby’s news, Kathy gives him a stern reality and suggests he and Bobby sit down and talk over dinner.
Despite Ian’s efforts, Bobby avoids the conversation and stays at work and Kathy is worried to hear Bobby failed to turn up to dinner.
As she tries to call him he wakes up in the restaurant after sleeping there the night.
Iqra has some news
The Ahmeds prepare for Eid, and Bobby has doubts about joining them but after, a heart-to heart with Iqra, participates in the celebrations.
Things get off to a bad start when Habiba, Iqra and Adam struggle to remain civil.
Mariam soon picks up on the tension and demands to know the truth but Iqra steps in and distracts her by revealing she’s seeing someone.
Outside, Iqra reveals to Habiba it wasn’t a lie and she is in a relationship.
The Ahmeds scold Iqra
The following day Habiba questions Iqra about her partner and later on Habiba confides in Honey that she didn’t know what was going on in her sister’s life.
Back home, Mariam and Arshad scold Iqra for not being honest with them but Habiba interrupts and makes an excuse for her and Iqra to leave.
After a heart-to-heart with her sister, Habiba thanks Honey for her help.
Iqra apologises for lying to Mariam and Arshad but when they insist she brings her partner over for dinner, she takes drastic action and moves into Robbie’s spare room.
Honey and Iqra have an unsettling conversation…
Honey has an unsettling conversation with Iqra. She soon tells Will and Janet to pack their things.
However, when Adam returns, she tells him they’re going away together without the children. Is it all as it seems?
Kush moves into the Slaters’
Kat comes clean to Kush about why Stacey and Martin fled leaving him furious.
However, he later returns with his belongings. He’s staying at the Slaters’ in case Phil comes looking.
Bex gets her A-Level results…
Bex us looking at other options for university. Alone, Sonia shares her fears with Stuart who tries to calm her down.
On the day of Bex’s A-Level results Sonia anxiously waits to hear, as Bex contemplates what she really wants.
Back at home, Bex opens up her results…
Jean helps a distraught Daniel
Jean goes for an update on her chemotherapy treatment. She waits for her appointment at the hospital.
As she’s waiting, Daniel immediately irritates her.
But when she spots that he’s distraught Daniel, Jean takes him for a coffee.
As they sit down, Daniel makes a shocking admission. What is it?
EastEnders is on Mondays and Fridays at 8pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm.
