Former Emmerdale actress Adele Silva, who played Kelly Windsor, has hit out after she was approached for a documentary called When Celebrity Goes Horribly Wrong.
She wrote about the situation on Twitter.
(1)Tis the season to be jolly! Just had a lovely request for a @channel5_tv show ‘When Celebrity goes horribly wrong’ for my response to when I worked as a Saturday girl in Ted Baker in LA almost 10 years ago. Apparently I should be ashamed of myself for doing such a thing?!

(2)I started on tv at 7 and still going now at 39 – don’t think I’m doing too badly! What bothers me most is how by working in a shop & doing an honest days work you get vilified – When Celebrity goes wrong’ what exactly is wrong with that 🖕🏼Merry Xmas X @channel5_tv

She has also made appearances in The Bill, EastEnders, Is Harry on the Boat, Mile High and the independent film, Jam.
Adele isn’t the first actress to speak out on working a ‘normal’ job between roles.
Apparently I should be ashamed of myself for doing such a thing?!
Back in October, it was revealed former EastEnders actress Katie Jarvis was working as a security guard at B&M and she was ‘job shamed’.
Katie appeared on The Victoria Derbyshire show to speak about the issue and said: “To be honest Sunday morning, I woke up really embarrassed and really made to feel quite ashamed.

“See over my career I’ve done my best to try and stay away from social gatherings, get-togethers and celebrity things to keep my private life as private as possible.
“So to wake up with my kids and see myself on the front of the pages just for simply having a job in between my acting, it really did hurt me and it took a day or so for me to actually let it all digest and realise I had nothing to be ashamed about.”
Soap stars and fans came out to support Katie when the incident happened.
