Former Emmerdale and Coronation Street actress Hayley Tamaddon has revealed the name of her newborn son.
Hayley, who gave birth to her first child two weeks ago, took to social media to update fans.
She posted a black and white picture of the adorable newborn’s face and wrote: “Two weeks ago… and a little earlier than expected… I gave birth to our beautiful baby boy… we have called him… JASPER.”

The proud new mum, 42, continued: “It’s been a whirlwind! The most incredible life-changing experience… it’s beyond anything I’ve ever felt… it’s a love so strong and overwhelming… I just cry when I look at him! I feel truly blessed that he’s mine.”
Hayley went on to thank fans for all their messages of support and for joining the actress on her pregnancy journey.

“I also want to thank the most amazing midwives and doctors at Saint Mary’s hospital that took care of us both so well. What amazing, hard-working people,” she continued.
“There are too many names to mention but they all know who they are. Thank you for everything. Welcome to the world, Jasper… Your mummy and daddy love you so very much.”
“And I can’t wait to see what the universe has in store for you. I’ll be right there by your side, every step of the way.”
Hayley announced the birth of her son earlier this month with another sweet black and white photo of her little boy gripping onto her finger.
“He’s here. He’s incredible. And we are besotted,” she wrote.

In April, Hayley announced she and partner Adrian were expecting their first child together. She said she was told she couldn’t have children, so was absolutely thrilled to be expecting.
“I’ve always wanted to be a mum and didn’t think I could have children. And now, at the ripe old age of 42 – I’m pregnant. We couldn’t be happier,” the former Emmerdale actress added.
