Hollyoaks star Ellis Hollins has surprised fans with a shirtless snap showing off his newly ripped physique.
The 19-year-old posted the pic on Instagram to show how far his training has taken him and reveal how his fitness regime has given him “so much confidence”.

Ellis, who plays Tom Cunningham in Hollyoaks, captioned the photo: “So glad I’ve gone from Mr. Blobby to what you can see on the right picture from today.
“Last year I’d have never had the confidence to upload my nipples and I on social media, but these past months have given me so much confidence to be myself, and stop myself from being so self conscious.”
He went on to thank his personal trainer for helping him “every step of the way”, adding: “I’m on route to being the person I finally want to be.”
A number of Ellis’ fellow Hollyoaks stars were among those to offer messages of support and encouragement in the comments.
Luke Jerdy, who plays Jesse Donovan, responded: “You certainly weren’t Mr Blobby before mate! All about that confidence though.”
Romeo Quinn actor Owen Warner, meanwhile, said Ellis was looking “healthyyyyyyyy” and Daisy Wood-Davis, the actress who portrayed Kim Butterfield until leaving the show last year, told him: “Go on ellissssssss.”
As Ellis has been in Hollyoaks since 2000, when he was three years old, a number of fans were understandably gobsmacked to see him looking so grown up.
Someone commented on the snap: “When did you grow up. Watched you since you started. I’m like the proud weird auntie. You’ve never looked like Mr blooby though. But we’ll done you.”
Another wrote, “What happened to Tom!”, alongside a shocked-face emoji.

Some thought the transformation might have had something to do with his Hollyoaks character’s ployamorous relationship with Peri Lomax and Harley Frater, played by Ruby O’Donnell and Mollie Lambert.
One fan joked, “That’s because you’ve two girls to keep up with now” and other chimed in, “Tom ain’t afraid of showing his nipples to Peri and Harley! The boy doesn’t stop these days”.
