It’s a summer special for Hollyoaks in their Friyay interview that reveals Prince McQueen is set to leave the village.
Actor Malique Thompson Dwyer, who last year appeared in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! will depart for pastures new – but will he going alone? And will he be leaving alive?
Malique said: “The door is open. My character is still alive so you never know.”

Revealing his future plans, he added: “I have been doing a lot of music and I’m trying to pursue that and get my music out there, however acting is my main passion which I won’t be giving up.”
Before he goes, Prince will be causing all sorts of trouble when he smashes up Price Slice and gets a job working for Tom Cunningham.
“Tom’s Turtles is a business set up by Tom that aims to keep children occupied throughout the six weeks of summer,” Malique explained.
“Prince gets involved, needing to pay Walter back after smashing up Price Slice. Not wanting to work with Walter, Prince asks Tom for a job.
“Prince didn’t intentionally smash up Walter’s shop. He got into a fight with Romeo which resulted in a shop display getting destroyed.”
Malique also teased a “spark from Prince’s past may be reignited during a summer romance” before he leaves.
Although Prince’s feud with Romeo causes his eventual departure, Owen Warner, who plays Romeo, has revealed his alter ego will really miss Prince when he’s gone.
“He’ll be devastated, but glad for him moving on and out the village,” he said.
And Owen himself is pretty cut up about Malique’s exit too.
“Words can’t describe how gutted I am!
“Since I came here he’s been my best mate, and I always have such a laugh with him. A selfish part of me wants him to stay but also I can’t wait to see where his career is going to go.”

Another huge storyline set to hit the headlines over the summer sees rapist and abuser Laurie Shelby get confronted by Diane O’Connor.
Laurie has so far got away Scott free after sexually harrassing Sienna Blake and raping his wife, Sinead Shelby.
When Diane goes to visit her rapist son Finn O’Connor in prison to get inside the mind of men like him, she ends up in a dangerous situation when she goes head to head with Laurie.
Kyle Pryor, who plays Laurie revealed: “Diane confronts Laurie in front of his students and peers.
“He brushes off the accusations and walks away from the confrontation, meanwhile feeling emasculated and enraged by the audacity of Diane.
“She confronts him yet again in the classroom and refuses to let him get away with his despicable behaviour.
“What ensues after that will play out for the viewer in dramatic fashion.”
Will Laurie finally get punished for his crimes?
Hollyoaks is on Monday to Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with a first look episode every night at 7pm on E4.
