Hollyoaks dropped a bombshell on viewers earlier this week when it revealed the village’s new serial killer.
Mild-mannered barmaid Breda McQueen was unveiled as a secret murderer who, despite only being in the village a matter of months, has racked up a surprising number of kills.
The show finally solved the mystery of who killed Carl Costello when a flashback scene revealed a black hooded jacket wearing Breda standing over him before finishing him off.
She was also revealed to have been behind Glenn Donovan’s poisoning after he committed the fatal error of being rude to her while she pulled his pint.
And viewers watched as she bludgeoned Russ Owen to death on his own wedding day to Mercedes McQueen.

Worst was to come when she told his sons why she had killed him, and then handed them proof she had done it in the form of a button from his wedding suit sewn onto dolls.
She told the youngsters: “You’re born, you live, you die and when God decides your time is up then that’s it, game over.
“And if you’ve been good, you get to spend the rest of eternity in heaven. But if you’ve been bad well, the sinners always get punished in the end.”
But fans aren’t convinced Breda was driven to kill by merely being in Hollyoaks village.
Instead they are sure she has struck before and are convinced she murdered her own husband, and let son Sylver take the fall for it.
One wrote on DS forums: “Silas had killed before is arrival but we only found that out over time. I think same for Breda. I wonder what happened to Sylver’s dad?”

And some are even convinced Breda’s actions will see Silas Blissett return to the village to either take on or team up with Breda.
One wrote: “I’m actually starting to wonder if we will see Silas again. He’d be smart enough to know these deaths would be related.
“What would he think about Breda? Would he see her as one of his own kind taking out men who don’t deserve to live anymore or as an enemy killing good men ‘hard done by’?”
