Stephanie Waring loved working with a lot of the “original” Hollyoaks cast on the show’s big stunt.
The 40-year-old actress enjoyed getting to act alongside the likes of Gary Lucy, Sarah Jayne Dunn, Ellis Hollins, Ashley Taylor Dawson and Jess Fox for the big scenes, which air on the programme next month.

She said: “There’s a lot of exciting things coming up with the show at the minute and this stunt involves a lot of the originals, cast wise.
“So it’s been a lot of fun to work with Gary (Lucy), Sarah (Jayne Dunn), Ellis (Hollins), Ashley (Taylor Dawson) and Jess (Fox) and I can’t tease too much all, but Cindy definitely plays a key part in it.”
Stephanie – who plays Cindy Cunningham in the Channel 4 soap – says there is a lot of exciting things ahead for her character.
Speaking about what fans can expect from her character in the coming weeks, she added: “There’s lots of Cindy and Luke stuff coming … will they, won’t they get together.
“There’s also Cindy’s new venture which ties in with the stunt that’s about to happen.”
Stephanie has loved working alongside newbie Jake Quickenden, who has joined the soap as builder Woody.
She told Mirror Online: “We’ve just finished filming it and it’s going to look amazing so I can’t wait.
“Jake has been a breath of fresh air for the show.
“I was very excited to work with him and he was really good and made us all laugh so much on set every day, and I’d love for him to stick around.”
A trailer released by the show on Friday reveals Luke Morgan getting into a giant crane that’s doing some building work in Hollyoaks village.

Although Luke isn’t driving the crane when it crashes down and causes the disaster, it’s thought he messes with the mechanisms making it unsafe.
He watches on in horror as devastation strikes, trapping Darren, Nancy and the kids in the tunnels below, and threatening Scott and Mitchell who are in the florist.

Hollyoaks is on Monday to Friday at 6,30pm on Channel 4 with a first look every evening at 7pm on E4.
