We always imagine highly paid soap stars in multi-million-pound mansions, but a new report claims Jack P Shepherd has been living in a hotel for the past few weeks.
The Coronation Street star apparently moved to a room in Manchester after leaving the luxury £300k apartment he shared with co-star Colson Smith.
An insider close to the 30-year-old actor, who plays David Platt, told The Sun Online: “Jack and Colson moved into their bachelor pad last year with another mate and have shared some wild times in the place.
“Their lease was up at the end of last year so they decided to move out – but Jack is yet to find anywhere to live.
“He’s been staying at a hotel in central Manchester until he finds somewhere new and his kids have been loving it.”
Jack moved in with Colson, who plays Craig Tinker, along with musician Freddie Bolt, a year ago, after splitting from his longterm girlfriend Lauren Shippey, mum to his children Nyla and Reuben.
The actor, who is also dad to Sammy Milewski from a one-night stand, is now dating new girlfriend, Hanni Treweek, but sources say it’s not clear if they’re planning to move in together.

Earlier this week, Jack shared a few videos and pictures from The Midland Hotel in Manchester, where his kids were enjoying a swim.
He captioned it: “Neon pool 🤘🏻” alongside some cute snaps of Nyla and Reuben in their water-wings.
But days before, Jack also shared a picture from The Ivy Manchester hotel.

The popular soap star can certainly afford a bit of extravagance after he reportedly became the show’s biggest earner, thanks to a massive pay rise in October.
Jack, who’s been on Corrie since he was 11, got a new contract worth £250,000, according to The Mirror.
That’s £30,000 more than his previous deal and it ties him into the soap for another year.
A Street source told the paper that bosses were keen to keep Jack after the way he dealt with some tough scripts in 2018, saying: “His handling of the recent rape storyline has been moving and very well received by the audience and his new deal is richly deserved.”
