Kim Tate has only been back in Emmerdale for a few days, yet she’s managed to instigate the death of fan favourite Joe Tate, offend everyone – and we mean EVERYONE – and get her nemesis Charity Dingle arrested.
Not to mention ruining a seriously expensive looking Champagne fountain, for which we may never forgive her…
And now we’re told, she’s just getting started!
In a surprising twist few saw coming, Claire King’s super-villain Kim is staying in Emmerdale for good!
The ITV soap originally told viewers that the legendary character was only returning for a short stint – but, in typical Kim style, we were all duped!
Having ordered the death of Joe Tate and reclaimed Home Farm, Kim will be back to wreak more havoc early next year and this time she’s set to stay.
After being pushed over a balcony by a mystery assailant, Kim’s return to the Dales has certainly been dramatic.
She’s now set to spend another six months behind bars, before returning to Emmerdale to ruffle even more feathers – and, while her fellow residents won’t celebrate her return, we’re pretty sure ITV viewers will!
With her claws soon to be firmly back in Home Farm, what does Emmerdale’s most evil female have in store for the rest of the village?
On her character’s return Claire King said: “You knew she wasn’t going to go away quietly, so I’m so pleased to announce Kim will be back.
“It’s been great fun keeping it under wraps but now she can really get down to business!”
Executive Producer, Jane Hudson said: “Although Kim’s initial return was fleeting, she caused such mischief and chaos that we simply couldn’t resist bringing her back.
“Kim Tate is just getting warmed up for an explosive 2019, which will see her hell-bent on getting exactly what, and who, she wants.”
Just a theory, but we have a feeling her estranged son James won’t be far behind…
We. Literally. Can’t. Wait.
