Corrie legend Jim McDonald recently strolled back into the Street to cause havoc for ex-wife Liz once more.
Jim turned up with a young woman who claimed to be his daughter Katie – the daughter he and Liz thought had died shortly after she was born.
But it was quickly revealed that Jim was having an affair with the impostor Hannah, who was posing as Katie. And her reappearance was part of a plan to dupe poor Liz out of her life’s savings. Pretty evil, huh?
Corrie bosses haven’t confirmed that this nasty plot would be the last time we’ll see Jim on the Street because actor Charlie Lawson is leaving for good, though speculation has been rife.
But now rumours that Jim is going to be murdered have reached fever pitch – thanks to Beverley Callard, who plays poor Liz.

When Beverley appeared on This Morning recently, Phillip Schofield asked her about Jim leaving.
“Somebody is going to have their ultimate revenge on Jim,” he said.
“It’s got to be Liz,” Beverley agreed. “It most definitely has got to be Liz.”
But she added: “I think there’s quite a long time to go before that could or would happen.”
And when Phillip asked if she’d just confirmed Jim’s exit, she said: “I didn’t confirm anything.”

With Hannah and Jim’s plan to steal Liz’s cash ramping up as the unsuspecting mum cashes in her pension, the stakes are high. And Liz and Jim realising they still have feelings for each other is only going to make things worse.
If Liz finds out what they’re up to, she’ll be devastated. And let’s face it, secrets like this are always found out in the end.
Could a betrayed Liz be furious enough to do away with her lying, cheating hubby?
