Lysette Anthony is currently at the centre of an emotional storyline, where her Hollyoaks character’s lies are about to be discovered in explosive scenes.
Marnie Nightingale’s son James will soon discover that his mum kept his son Romeo hidden away from him and paid off his mother to keep him away.
And they’ll be lots off tears during the fraught showdown.

However, actress Lysette has revealed that she finds the crying scenes cathartic as it’s “free therapy” for the alleged sexual abuse she has accused Harvey Weinstein of.
Speaking to The Sun, the 55-year-old admitted that the emotional scenes are actually “really easy” after the abuse she suffered in Hollywood.
She told the newspaper: “I’ve got the best job in the world, I get to go to work and cry for a living.
“[Crying is] really easy – who needs therapy? Getting paid for my own therapy is [bleep] brilliant.”
She claims he raped her in the 80s. He has denied the claims.
She also added that she didn’t want to waste anymore time thinking about him, although she’d like to see him have his day in court.
In an interview with the Sunday Times last year, Lysette said she had reported the rape allegations to police in London and that she had spent years of her life trying to forget what she described as a “pathetic, revolting” attack.
Speaking about her upcoming dramatic scenes, Lysette revealed: “I would like some more mischief before the next drama but I suspect drama might be the way.”
Marnie was initially introduced as a villain in 2016, and became hugely popular with the fans.
Lysette added: “The thing about Marnie is she’s a nightmare, she’s really bad tempered and she’s appalling rude to you but she’s actually very instinctive and she does care about the right things in the end.
“Not always, but in the end. Ultimately. I just love her.”
At the time, Lysette said she was fearful that speaking out against Harvey might get her the sack – but it looks like Marnie isn’t going anywhere.
