However, viewers know Lewis was seen collapsing of a heart attack earlier this year and was thought to be dead.
On New Year’s Day, Audrey’s love interest Lewis was killed off just moments before he had planned to propose.
Heartbroken Audrey found Lewis lifeless on the floor with an engagement ring in his hand in emotional scenes.

But many fans were convinced it was Lewis’ last big con, and accused him of faking his own death.
Now Nigel has hinted that Lewis might still return to the cobbles one day.
I’d always go back. I absolutely love doing it.
Appearing on Loose Women on Wednesday (November 6), the actor revealed he’d love to return.
Speaking to the LW panellists, he addressed the fan theory that his character could still be alive, saying: “You just don’t know. Or he has a twin brother somewhere.
“I’d always go back. I absolutely love doing it. The people are so nice and the storylines are amazing.”
He continued: “I played a charmer years ago and this was an updated version. In the end I turned out to be really nice. I had the engagement ring in my pocket.”
Adding more fuel to speculation Lewis is still alive, he added: “Or maybe I’m in Barbados waiting to come back.”
Viewers know that Lewis’ sudden death started a war within the Platt family – as it was revealed that Audrey’s grandson Nick had robbed her and blamed Lewis.
David Platt is now in jail for being an accomplice to the crime, and the family tensions caused Gail to flee the cobbles but she’s now returned.
