Sally Dynevor has become “addicted” to hot yoga after her ‘Coronation Street’ character took up the exercise regime.
The 55-year-old actress has been working up a sweat on a daily basis after being inspired by her alter-go Sally Metcalfe, who has started doing yoga while she is banged up behind bars.

After admitting that she’s “quite liked” Sally being in prison because it’s meant having some time off, Sally also revealed her alter ego has inspired her to get healthy.
“It’s funny because Sally started off doing yoga in prison, so I thought, ‘Right, I’ll go and do yoga,’
“Now I’ve joined a hot yoga class, and I’m addicted. I go there almost every day, and it’s given me a whole new lease of life,” she told Inside Soap.

As well as enjoying her jail scenes, Sally says it has been tough to see her character go through such a hard time in her life, and it has made her think of all the people who have been wrongly imprisoned in real life.
She said it’s been “harrowing to film” as Sally faces jail time for something she didn’t do.
“It’s sad and awful, and it made me think about people who are in this position in real life.”
Sally’s prison scenes have been so hard-hitting, her real daughter, Hattie, 14, cannot bear to watch the episodes because she feels as though her mum has been incarcerated.
She added to the magazine: “My daughter, Hattie, who is just 14, told me, ‘I can’t watch it, I don’t like you being in jail.'”
Sally is currently behind bars after being falsely accused of defrauding the council.
In fact it was Duncan who conned her and he is now worming his way into her sister Gina’s good books to get her on his side.
And it might well be working, as next week Gina seems to be more swayed than ever to desert her sister in her time of need.
