Phoebe Dynevor, daughter of Coronation Street’s Sally Dynevor, has been cast in Netflix show Bridgerton.
The 24-year-old actress posted the news onto her Instagram.

Phoebe captioned the post: “So thrilled to finally share this news! #getready @byshondaland @netflix #dreamcometrue.”
Her mum Sally commented: “Wow, just fantastic. So proud of you xxxxx.”
Former Corrie stars rushed to congratulate her.
Georgia May Foote wrote: “So proud of you!”

The eight-episode drama is the TV adaption of Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series of romance novels which follows the close Bridgerton family.
Phoebe will be playing Daphne Bridgerton.
Also starring in the series is Julie Andrews as Lady Whistleton, Regé-Jean Page as Simon Basse and Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte, Johnathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton, Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton and Claudia Jessie as Eloise Bridgerton.
Phoebe is well know for her role in Waterloo Road as Siobhan Mailey and as Lauren in Prisoners’ Wives.

Her mother Sally has played Sally Metcalfe in Coronation Street since 1986.
Sally recently formed a syndicate with fellow Corrie residents Sinead Tinker, Yasmeen Nazir and Jenny Connor.
However, things didn’t go to plan when they were scammed and none of them wanted to take care of the horse.
Sally ended up selling the horse, upsetting her husband Tim, as he had grown attached to the horse.
