Emmerdale will move to an earlier timeslot on ITV tonight airing at 7pm instead of 7.30pm.
The episode will be on for half an hour.
After Emmerdale tonight, Coronation Street will air at 7.30pm for an hour.
Spoilers: What happens in tonight’s Emmerdale?
In tonight’s scenes a prison officer hands Cain some letters from someone who has been writing to him frequently.
Once the prison officer is out of sight, Cain rips up the letters.
Meanwhile at Butler’s, Isaac and Kyle receive Christmas presents from a mystery person.
Moira wants to know who sent the presents and visits Cain in prison.
She asks him about the presents and he hides his worry.
Moira tells Cain that she’s left Faith’s Christmas card to him with the guard.
Later a guard comes to see Cain and gives him Faith’s letter, but Cain isn’t ready to read it.
He asks the guard for a phone call and he says he will see what he can do.
At home, Moira watches Kyle play, hoping they can have a relatively normal Christmas.
In the prison corridor, Cain is on the phone with a mystery person.
The prison officer looks over at Cain who lowers his voice.
Hearing the refusal from the person on the phone, Cain slams the phone down.
Meanwhile Jimmy invites Liam to spend Christmas with him and Nicola so he doesn’t have to spend it alone.
However Leyla is hiding the fact she will be alone this Christmas.
Later Rishi invites Liam over for Christmas and Liam wonders if he’s bitten off more than he can chew.
