Why is EastEnders on tonight?
The BBC has changed EastEnders’ schedule on a permanent basis.
EastEnders now airs Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm.

Spoilers: What is happening in tonight’s EastEnders?
In tonight’s episode Frankie catches Mick and Janine almost kissing and Mick tries to cover up what’s happening.
Later Sonia is shocked when Janine tells her about Mick. She warns her that Mick and Linda are made for each other.
With Sonia’s words on her mind, Janine ends her relationship with Mick.
Back at The Vic, a hungover Linda arrives to speak to Mick forcing Frankie to cover for him.
However when Linda starts to drink, things get out of hand when she has some harsh words for Frankie.
Mick hears the argument and snaps at Linda, putting his foot down saying enough is enough.
Outside, Mick tells Janine it’s definitely over with him and Linda and kisses her in public for all to see – including Sharon.
Meanwhile Nancy is upset when she learns Linda spent the night at Sharon’s and Zack didn’t tell her.
But she feels guilty when she learns he missed the cooking competition for her.
ITV schedule changes
ITV has also changed its soap schedule.
On ITV the evening news programme has been extended to an hour, airing from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, with ITV confirming more focus on reporting outside of London.

Emmerdale has moved to the 7.30pm slot every weeknight.
Meanwhile Coronation Street is now hour-long episodes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm.
