Abbey Clancy has been tipped to replace Holly Willoughby on This Morning, according to reports.
Holly quit the daytime show earlier this month after 14 years on the sofa. Her former co-star Phillip Schofield left the show in May. This means the show’s main presenters are now gone and fans are wondering who will replace them.
Now, reports have claimed that Peter Crouch’s wife could take on Holly’s role.
Abbey Clancy to replace Holly Willoughby on This Morning?
A source has claimed to The Sun that Abbey could be the new favourite to take over the role. They said: “Abbey is great on camera — she comes across confidently and has an affable nature which would prove a hit with This Morning viewers.
“She’s one of the names that has been mentioned as a potential replacement for Holly.”

Abbey has a close friendship with Holly, with the pair previously holidaying together with their husbands.
Abbey isn’t the only name thrown into the replacements mix recently. Most recently Channel 5 star Storm Huntley and Steph’s Packed Lunch host Steph McGovern have been tipped for the role.
She’s one of the names that has been mentioned as a potential replacement for Holly.
However, Jeremy Vine star Storm recently broke her silence on the reports. She said on Instagram alongside a screengrab of an article of the claims: “Well it’s certainly been quite the day. First I get sent this… Very flattering but I think there may be a scheduling issue there.”
Meanwhile, there have been many fan pleas to get Steph on the blue sofa. Last week, it was announced that Channel 4 will be ending Steph’s Packed Lunch.
Steph McGovern to host This Morning?
One person wrote online after hearing the news of Steph’s show: “Gutted to hear that #StephsPackedLunch is being axed. It is daytime TV that doesn’t treat viewers as morons and doesn’t chase tabloid headlines. ITV need to poach Steph and get the Packed Lunch format as a refreshed version of @thismorning.”
Another tweeted: “I hope @StephLunch is now in the running for #ThisMorning Steph comes across really well and would do well.”
A third added: “They need to give Steph the top job at This Morning then if they are going to axe her show.”

Earlier this month, Holly announced she was stepping down from This Morning after 14 years. In a statement, she said: “This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we’ve done together. Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive.”
She added: “It’s been an honour to just be part of its story and I know this story has many chapters left to go. Sadly, however, I now feel I have to make this decision for me and my family.”
