Amanda Abbington has broken her silence on her exit from Strictly Come Dancing.
The actor was confirmed to have quit the show on Monday after she was forced to withdraw from performing last weekend.

Last weekend, Amanda was forced to withdraw from performing due to a health issue. Many expected the star to make a return this weekend.
However, on Monday, the BBC announced that Amanda would not be returning to the show.
In a statement, they said: “Amanda Abbington is unable to continue in Strictly Come Dancing and has decided to withdraw from the competition,” the statement read.
“The show wishes her all the best for the future.”
Fans were gutted. “Gutted that Amanda (& Gio) won’t be coming back to Strictly. What a shame,” one fan said.
“Absolutely gutted, she was amazing & I really wished she’d stayed on,” another siad. “Huge shame Amanda has been forced to pull out of series, she did some lovely performances,” a third wrote.

Shortly after, Amanda, 49, broke her silence on her exit from the show.
Taking to Instagram, Amanda uploaded a snap of her golden shoes from the show.
“It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly,” she captioned the post. “I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons I am unable to continue.”
She then continued, “It was an absolute joy working with my fellow contestants, they are a beautiful, hardworking and talented group of people who I love and who I will miss seeing every Friday and Saturday and competing alongside.”
Amanda speaks out
The star then continued. ” I want to thank the incredible Production team and everyone on Strictly who looked after me and who are so kind and caring. It’s a wonderful bunch of people and I’ll miss all of them.
“I’m so sad that I am unable to go any further. Thank you to everyone who voted and who sent wonderful messages and inspiring support. You are all amazing. Truly. Thank you.”
“Take care darling we will miss you! Sending lots of love,” Jowita Pryztsal wrote in the comments.
“Sending lots of love – we miss you,” Krishan Guru-Murthy commented. “So much love to you. Whatever you are going through I hope you and your loved ones have the love, strength and resilience to get through it. Massive internet hugs to you,” a third said.
