Amanda Holden has revealed one of her daughters told her off for saying the ‘S word’ on Britain’s Got Talent‘s companion show.
The judge, 48, let the swear word slip on Britain’s Got More Talent on Tuesday (May 28) just a day after shocking viewers by dropping the F-bomb in one of the live semi-finals.
Speaking to The Sun, Amanda said her seven-year-old daughter, Hollie, confronted her about it and got an apology from her guilty mum.
She told the paper: “Hollie said, ‘Mummy, did you say the F-word?’ and I said, ‘No, Hollie, Mummy didn’t really’.
“Then she said, ‘But you definitely said the S-word on Stephen Mulhern’s show, didn’t you?'”
Amanda continued: “And I had to just say, ‘Yes, sorry about that’. Me and Chris really do try not to swear at home.”
Amanda was taking part in a game called Tip of the Tongue on BGMT when the blunder happened.
As part of the game, each judge had to choose a word that starts with a particular letter to describe something read out by host Stephen.
He asked them to use a word beginning with ‘S’ to describe his show and Amanda, a little too eager, jumped in and dropped the word that rhymes with ‘hit’.
Her fellow judge Alesha Dixon gasped, “Amanda!” as the foul-mouthed TV star put her head in her hands and jokingly pretended to be handcuffed – although boss Simon Cowell didn’t appear to think it was very funny.
Either way, hysterical viewers took to Twitter to laugh at the blunder.
One said: “Love sweary Amanda!! #BGT #BGMT.”
Someone else tweeted: “‘[bleep]’ AMANDA AM CRYING hahahahahahahahaha. (sic)”
Another wrote: “‘Describe #BGMT in one word beginning with S’. Amanda Holden: ‘[bleep]’.”
A fourth said: “Wonder what swear word Amanda will hit out with tomorrow night.”

During the live semi-final on Monday, Amanda outraged viewers by saying the F word after taking part in the final performance from magic act The Haunting.
She apologised for the gaffe once she had returned to the judges’ panel, telling the audience and viewers: “I really want to apologise for saying a terrible word. I know my kids are watching so I apologise for that. I can honestly say I feel terrified.”
