The Chase’s Anne Hegerty has had to deny she is the topless Newcastle fan in a picture that has been circulating online!
The star found herself in the rather unusual predicament after a fan made the comparison on Twitter, but the quiz ace used her witty sense of humour to come out on top.
‘The Governess’ had her fans in fits of laughter with her hilarious comebacks after she was randomly compared to the Geordie man in a crowd at a football match.
The moob-flashing male revealed his bare chest for all to see, but luckily 60-year-old Anne managed to see the funny side of the online prank.

At first she tweeted: “I would just like to confirm that this is NOT me …”
When one fan jokingly replied; “Prove it,” Anne’s sense of humour really came out when she retorted: “My [bleep] are bigger than that.”

The Twitter community was in stitches after the I’m A Celebrity star’s sassy response.
One fan tweeted: “I can’t stop roaring with laughter! Your sense of humour is simply the best x x x.”

Another agreed, adding: “😂 You are a legend,” and a fourth wrote: “I had to follow you on the strength of that response 😂😂😂.”

The usually straight-faced Anne made it clear she saw the funny side of the situation.
When one fan tweeted her to say they thought the online dig was “sad”, she replied to assure everyone she was fine about it.
