The 60-year-old quiz expert admitted she struggled adapting to jungle life.
Talking to Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes on This Morning following her exit, she confessed: “I was technically expecting everything that happened, but I hadn’t really properly imagined it to myself and when we went into Snake Rock I just got more and more depressed.

“I thought, ‘Oh no, no, no, no what was I thinking. I can’t possibly handle this.’
“Not just the hunger, just the sheer discomfort and how difficult and hard everything was… how hard it was just to keep yourself clean. And I was kind of in shock for several days.”
Anne insisted it was thanks to her campmates first at Snake Rock and then Croc Creek, which helped her to keep going.

She revealed: “When I got into the main camp, everyone was just so lovely.
“John Barrowman came running up with his arms open, and Nick [Knowles] gave me a hug and then his pillow – which I’d been sleeping on ever since and it’s filthy with wood smoke and everything.”
