On a diet of rice and beans, with the occasional exotic treat of cockroaches, crickets and mealworms, it’s not surprising the I’m a Celeb stars leave the jungle a few pounds lighter.
In fact, experts reckon each contestant drops around 11 pounds each series. This probably makes it one of the most efficient weight-loss plans around… if, perhaps, a little more gruelling than counting calories or replacing meals with shakes.
One contestant whose slimmed-down frame has been making headlines this series is Made in Chelsea’s Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo, whose dramatic weight loss could not be missed as she went about her daily ablutions this week.
Pics of her in the shower compared with shots she shared on Instagram just before entering the jungle show the toll the restricted menu has taken on her already slight frame.
And it’s not just Toff who’s a shadow of her former self. Sources reckon that this year’s intake have already shed a whopping six stone between them, as their rationed food intake and packed schedule of tasks and trials keep them burning off the calories.

And although viewers might be seeing slightly less of Toff in terms of weight, support for the socialite is not slimming down, with the bookies currently giving her 9/1 odds of being crowned Queen of the Jungle, and making her the most popular I’m A Celebrity contestant ever.
The 23-year-old is rumoured to be the lowest-paid contestant this series, reportedly set to pocket just £13,000 for her three week stint, compared to Amir Khan’s much-speculated £300,000 pay packet.
And while there will be no extra bounty should Toff go on to win, her ensuing profile should ensure she’s in demand for other lucrative work.

The well-heeled celeb’s performance so far Down Under has impressed viewers and campmates alike, with her not-afraid-to-get-her-hands-dirty attitude a far cry from her Made in Chelsea persona.
From shifting buckets of fish guts, to spending nine minutes in a cage full of snakes suspended 20 feet in the air, Toff has proved she is far more than just a pretty face – something she has not shied away from pointing out to her fellow contestants.
“I just hate all this stereotypical girls are not strong stuff,” she firmly told her male counterparts before the bucket-o-fish guts challenge.
We couldn’t agree more – she might have dropped a few pounds, but she’s a real heavyweight when it comes stamina and determination.
