Ben Shephard fans have called for the presenter to return to GMB after taking a break from filming.
The 45-year-old host is currently focusing on the upcoming series of Tipping Point.
Taking to Instagram last night (August 10), Ben gave followers a first update on the filming process.
What did Ben Shephard say?
He posed alongside two pals during a walk in Bristol.
Ben captioned the post: “After a full day in the studio filming @itvtippingpoint was lovely to get out yesterday evening with these two.
“Bristol has some wonderful views – this one enhanced by @justinejenkins and er…. @philltarling 😳 (I think he had some trapped wind!) #bristolsuspensionbridge #teamshep.”
And while most fans were delighted to see the star making the most of his downtime, others couldn’t help but comment on Ben’s GMB absence.

One wrote: “Where are you Ben Shepherd we need you back on morning TV.”
Another said: “Miss you in the morning. Love tipping point as well xx.”

A third agreed: “Beautiful scenery to take a snap. Yes Phil does look a little strained!! Ha ha. GMB not the same at the moment. I wonder why!!!”
A fourth added: “Ben, my mornings are not the same without you x.”
Why isn’t Ben Shephard on GMB?
Last week, Kate Garraway revealed it would be her pal’s final stint hosting GMB for some time.
Kate told viewers: “This is Ben’s last day.”
Ben later explained: “I’m not having any time off at all – it’s peak Tipping Point season!
“We’re getting back in the studio all socially distanced but we’ve got the set changed to get it all up and running.
“So I’m not going to be here but I am going to be working, Kate Garraway.”
He joked: “Don’t think I’m going to be sat with my trotters up down in the south of France.”
Ben admitted there would be some difficult changes to Tipping Point to make sure it’s safe to film.
He added: “I can’t hug anyone though – it’s awful!”
Who has taken over from Ben Shepard?
Ben is expected to return to Good Morning Britain in the autumn.
Until then, Adil Ray will be taking over. The star first hosted the ITV show as a stand-in back in 2018.

However, some viewers have been left far from impressed with Adil’s presenting skills.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “FFS Adil bloody Ray? What sort of a hellish start to the week is this? I’ve already stopped watching on Thursdays and Fridays.”
