When it comes to TV spoilers, Twitter can be a dangerous place.
If you haven’t seen your favourite show yet, you’d be well advised to steer clear of social media as other fans will be dropping clangers left, right and centre after they’ve seen the latest episode.
Not just fans either, because we all saw what happened when The Great British Bake Off’s Prue accidentally revealed the winner of the whole series before the final had even aired. Oops!
But it couldn’t happen on the good old BBC could it? And not with their most iconic show, Eastenders, could it?
Well, apparently it could, and that’s exactly what happened last night.

Fans who were following the show’s official Twitter feed while watching the episode go out live were shocked to see them post, ‘Is removing Tina from Walford a good idea? Taxi!’.
They were shocked because Eastenders posted the scene at 8.15pm, ten minutes before it actually went out live.
Understandably, viewers were less than impressed by the gaffe.
One said: “Posted 10 minutes before it aired, because why not?”
Another mused: “Hmm, timing & whatnot.”
Another questioned: “Why is this only just airing?”
While another damned the mistake, saying: “Stupid this is only just airing.”
The scene showed Shirley Carter handing Tina Carter a plane ticket to Spain and suggesting she stay away from the square for a couple of weeks.
Shirley said: “All you’ve got to do is get yourself to the airport. Everything else is sorted. You need to clear your head and you can’t do that here. I’m not asking you Tina, I’m telling you.”
Tina tried to convince Shirley to leave with her only to be turned down. She reluctantly accepted Shirley’s offer and got into a black cab then headed for the airport.
The exit came hot on the heels of Eastenders’ horrific Halloween, which saw little Janet Mitchell hit by a car and left for dead.

Later scenes saw Janet’s dad, Billy, cheat on his wife, Honey, with Tina, who viewers saw driving the car that hit the little girl.
Tina confessed all to Billy, and, as another character who knows the secret, Shirley is doing her best to protect her.
Let’s just hope that nobody at Eastenders tweet’s the Walford police!
