We’re halfway through the latest series of Strictly and there have been impressive performances from many of the celebrities so far.
As a result, bookies are struggling to call who might be the winner, in contrast to previous series where there has often been a clear front runner for the glitterball trophy by this stage in the competition.
Bookies William Hill believe it is a “four horse race” – with their current favourites the same stars at the top of Saturday’s leaderboad.
“It was another cracking night on Strictly and William Hill believe that it is one of the best fields in the history of the programme.
“Stacey Dooley is the 13/8 favourite, followed by Faye Tozer (10/3), Joe Sugg (7/2) and Ashley Roberts at 6/1,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
The betting giant believe Stacey could eventually nudge ahead and become the champion, after she has impressed the judges by mastering everything from street dance to taking both the male and female roles in a tango.
Even a rib injury sustained this week hasn’t held her back.

“As it stands it looks like a four horse race, with Stacey leading that pack for now,” said Rupert.
However, some Strictly fans have queried if the presenter is getting an unfair advantage when it comes to the judges’ scoring.
Stacey, 31, received nines across the board for a total of 36, placing her third on the leaderboard, while Kate ended up second from bottom, with Craig Revel-Horwood and Shirley Ballas criticising her moves as “heavy” and “laboured”.
As the odds currently stand, Kate Silverton is one of the favourites to leave on Sunday, with Ranj Singh also tipped to be in the bottom two.
