Bradley Walsh claims The Chase producers deliberately stitch him up

His corpsing is legendary

The Chase presenter Bradley Walsh has revealed that the producers of the show purposely set him up by sneaking suggestive questions into the show.

It’s now a common occurrence for the 57-year-old host to be in a fit of laughter when he’s forced to read rude-sounding questions and answers out loud, much to the amusement of viewers.

Bradley told the Daily Star: “I start to go and then I can’t gather myself. I try to continue reading the questions but by the time I get to the next one I’m gone.”

“I’ll be trying to speak but I can’t. I get caught unawares.” he continued.

Some of the amusing names have included ‘Willy Wakker’ and ‘Fanny Chmelar’.

The popular host said: “They got me with Willy Wakker and Fanny Chlemar. And things like Chocolate Salty Balls.

“I’m more wise to it these days. I can almost tell with any question what the alternative answers might be.”

Luckily, the audience and viewers at home seem to love Bradley’s giggling fits.

It’s a different story for the production team behind the show, however, as it can cause chaos if it happens during a timed round.

“I don’t crack up laughing too often. But when I do it’s very funny,” he explained. “I start to go and then I can’t gather myself.

“I try to continue reading the questions but by the time I get to the next one I’m gone. I’ll be trying to speak but I can’t.”

The show has an average viewership of a whopping five million per episode making it incredibly popular.
