Britain’s Got Talent star Julia Carlile has confessed to defying her doctor’s orders to get back on the dance floor.
Julia wowed the audience of the talent show as part of dance troop the MerseyGirls – who have been dancing together since they were five.
They danced their way through to the final of this year’s show, before finishing in fourth place, and Julia confessed she suspected the live shows would be the last time she’d get to perform.

The teenage performer revealed that she suffered from scoliosis – a spinal condition that left her in constant pain.
After hearing her story, Simon Cowell paid for her to fly out to the United States for life-altering spinal surgery.
The £175,000 surgery left her on the sidelines for three months, as the rest of the MerseyGirls waited for her to recover.
Speaking on This Morning, she said that her recovery had been tough, but worth it.
“Both surgeries went really well and I’ve been feeling so much better recently,” she said. “It’s the most painful thing I’ve felt in my life but these girls have helped me through it.”
While she was officially cleared to return to the dance floor from Saturday, the 15-year-old admitted to getting started early.
Despite the other girls urging her to wait, Julia said “I couldn’t resist when I was watching them dance.”
The girls have been in the recording studio as well – claiming they wanted to get started recording music, so Julia could join in without having to dance.
