Not long after she shared a photo of all the baby gifts she had received from her co-stars.
Alongside the snap she said: “Beautiful send off from the best crew #callthemidwife – no plans to leave the show just a bit of time off.”
She went on to reveal that they hadn’t yet found out the sex of their unborn baby.
“And the sex will be a surprise to us all 👌🏻boys can wear pink too,” Helen added.

Helen was previously married to co-star Oliver Boot but after their split she found love with Jack around April last year while filming the show’s Christmas special.
Speaking on Lorraine Kelly’s breakfast show Jack opened up about his romance with Helen after their characters had split on the show.
He said: “That’s the confusing bit – as long as I know where we’re going.”
Talking about how their romance started to blossom he continued: “It blossomed in South Africa I think, around that time.
“It’s the long hours. It’s where you meet people.”
