This Saturday (September 14), instead of catching up with fan faves Iain Dean, Charlie Fairhead and Lisa ‘Duffy’, viewers will tune in to find the last night of the proms – a celebration of classical music coming live from the Royal Albert Hall.
Presented by Katie Derham, Sakari Oramo conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus and the BBC Singers through the programme, which includes the Overture to Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld.

A Strictly Come Dancing special will air before at 7pm, followed by Pointless Celebrities at 8.15pm, making way for the Proms at 9pm.
Casualty will continue the week after (September 21) and finally air Iain Dean’s exit scenes.
Viewers have been with Iain every step of the way as he’s struggled to come to terms with the death of his colleague Sam Nicholls in an horrifying accident, for which he blamed himself.
Now making progress after his suicide attempt, he’s at a crossroads and beginning to consider making changes to better his life – propelled by the return of old friend Dixie.
With actor Michael Stevenson bowing out of his role as the popular paramedic after seven years, Iain will take centre stage in the bittersweet episode.
With Iain gone, Uriel Emil joins the cast as “gruff yet surprisingly complex” new paramedic Lev.
Earlier this year, Casualty was rescheduled to make way for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Meanwhile, the football has once again been interfering with soap schedules, leaving fans frustrated.
