With the opening night (proper) of Strictly Come Dancing just over a week away, Charlotte Hawkins has hinted that she’s struggling to master the moves with professional dance partner Brendan Cole.
But the reason behind her difficulty isn’t what you’d expect – the GMB host seems to have a problem with looking at Brendan’s face.
The 42-year-old has posted a video clip to her 23,000 Instagram followers, which appears to show the pair practising away from the Strictly studio.
And Brendan’s face has been covered by a cardboard box with a face drawn on the side of it!
As the pair spin around the room, Charlotte puffs: “This is working a treat – much better!”
And she captioned the clip with the words: “New tactic for #Strictly #day4 training – covering up @brendancoleinsta’s face seems to be helping. Stops me laughing!”
Well, one thing’s for sure – Charlotte wasn’t hiding Brendan’s features because she’s worried about falling for him and becoming the latest victim of the so-called ‘Strictly curse’.
On GMB earlier this week, the presenter was adamant that she’s only appearing on the show for the dancing.

Fellow host Piers Morgan hinted that she might become attracted to married Brendan, 41, saying: “You and Brendan will be up close for hours a day when the old paso doble starts to kick in.”
But Charlotte retorted: “No, we’re going to be dancing together. That’s what it’s about – the dancing.”
When she announced live on GMB last month that she’s appearing on Strictly, Charlotte seemed over the moon, revealing that she’s always been a “big fan” of the show.
“It’s a dream come true to be taking part, and I’ll be following in the footsteps of my Good Morning Britain colleagues [Susanna Reid and Richard Arnold],” she beamed.
“I’m looking forward to stepping out from behind the news desk to cha-cha-cha my way across the dancefloor!”

It’s been revealed that Charlotte and Brendan’s first dance on the show will be a foxtrot to The Best Is Yet To Come.
And now that Charlotte’s got over her rehearsal woes, her best is sure to be even better.
