Charlotte Hawkins suffered a wardrobe malfunction on this morning’s Good Morning Britain (Monday, August 24).
She revealed that she almost couldn’t dress herself in time for the show.
How did Charlotte Hawkins’ mishaps begin?
Taking over hosting duties from Kate Garraway – who’s taking a break to look after her family – Charlotte, 45, shared the near disaster with co-host Adil Ray.
The programme started with Adil, 46, reminding Charlotte that she wore odd shoes on an episode last week.

Showing an image onscreen of two odd pink heels, Charlotte laughed: “I tried on three different pairs of shoes one day and forgot to change into a matching pair and not lived it down since.”
“Without a stylist on hand we literally can’t even dress ourselves,” she added.
What happened to Charlotte Hawkins today?
Adil then prompted her to tell the story of what happened this morning before today’s show.
And it was potentially even worse than wearing two mismatched shoes.
“I couldn’t get my zip done and I was literally half-dressed this morning,” she told viewers.
She added that because of social distancing, the show’s assistants “couldn’t get anywhere near me and I was left high and dry”.
Thankfully, disaster was averted when Charlotte used “a little bit of wriggling” to get into her dress.
“The things we have to go through to get the programme.
“It’s not the hardest job in the world is it, getting your own clothes and shoes on,” Charlotte laughed.
Charlotte has been teased by her co-presenters
Poor Charlotte has taken a pasting from her GMB co-presenters recently.
Last week, co-host Sean Fletcher called her out over an annoying habit.

“Stay away from me!” Sean joked when she cleared her throat on-air during an interview.
Charlotte said: “I just keep having to clear my throat, it’s obviously getting up early. I do apologise.”
“You should have heard her in the dressing room this morning… it was like an old man,” Sean replied.
