Piers Morgan has joked about his Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid’s sex life as a rather heated debate about vegan food turned saucy.
With an outspoken Piers arguing against plant-based foods using the names of their meaty alternatives, he admitted that he was surprised by the attitude of the show’s vegan guests, chefs Henry Firth and Ian Theasby.
He said: “This conversation has been a good one because you’re not coming here screaming at me for eating meat.”
He added: “I don’t like being shamed for doing something that’s natural, I think we can all eat less meat but I don’t like having it screamed at me that I am a meat terrorist.”

Concluding the interview, which also featured chef Ryan Simpson-Trotman, Piers remarked that it was “nice to meet some civilised vegans” and said they were “the type I could almost hang out with”.
He added: “I didn’t know you existed.”
Susanna was quick to remind her co-presenter, however, that she was, in fact, a vegetarian.
She said: “You sit next to a civilised vegetarian every morning.”
“You’re a flexitarian aren’t you? Oh actually that’s your sex life, sorry!” Piers quipped of Susanna.

The star split from her Crystal Palace FC boss boyfriend Steve Parish earlier this year.
“Actually I’m a pescatarian,” the brunette said as she rolled her eyes and cut to a competition.
Piers’ flirty banter comes after Ent Daily reported that he thought Susanna had a “deep unrequited love” for him.
It’s something she has strenuously denied.
