Chloe Madeley has revealed that she was ‘angry’ with her famous father Richard Madeley as she prepared to walk down the aisle last month after he started an inappropriate conversation with her in the car on the way to her wedding.
Chloe, 31, was left furious with the TV presenter tried to discuss Brexit with her as she made her way to wed Rugby player James Haskell in December.

Speaking on Lorraine, the personal trainer revealed: “We had a moment in the hotel room before and got in the car.
“I as watching the Sat Nav time go down and down and down as we started getting closer to the church. And my heart was going, and I was getting really nervous, and he started talking about Brexit!”
She added: “He was like, ‘I’m trying to take your mind off it.’ I said, ‘That’s not helping! You’re making me angry!'”

Despite the 62-year-old’s unusual pre-wedding talk, Chloe said that her Christmas wedding was a ‘perfect chocolate box’ day, although she insisted it was James who wanted to get married in a church and she would have been just as happy to have got wed at the local registry office.
She said of her wedding at a village church in Berkshire: “It was incredible, we couldn’t do the big, big wedding for a while because there was so much happening, but James proposed and we really wanted to get married.
“He’s quite traditional and he wanted to do it in church and we just thought Christmas is the most magical time to do it and it just was.”

The fitness instructor, who got engaged to James, 33, after he popped the question during a romantic trip to Paris last year, has previously revealed that it was attending Harry and Meghan’s royal wedding in May that inspired her to choose a church wedding after all.
Chloe also insisted that it would not be the only time she put on her wedding dress, saying she would “100 per cent” wear it again when they had a second celebration this year.
However, she insisted despite tying the knot, she wasn’t ready to try for a family just yet. She said: “Now with all my nieces and nephews, I do have baby fever but I’ve worked for seven years as a personal trainer and blogger and writer to get to the point where I am now.
“I feel like my career right now is my baby which I’m trying to nurture, but thanks to my nieces and nephews I’m starting to consider children.”
